Robots to work in Japan airport

Robots are set to make travelling through Tokyo Haneda Airport a very odd, but apparently more pleasant, experience.

This September, 11 robots will begin working as cleaners and luggage transporters at the airport thanks to Japanese robot developer Cyberdyne.

In addition, some Airport personnel will also be issued with Hybrid Assistive Limb (HAL) machines, which are powered suits that will help staff to assist passengers who have a lot of heavy luggage.

If all goes well, robots acting as security and others that can assist passengers around the airport will be introduced.
