CCTV vision released after taxi driver bashed and robbed in Logan

DETECTIVES have released CCTV vision after a taxi driver was bashed and robbed by four men in Logan last month.

Just before 4.30pm on October 28, the four men approached a taxi which was parked on Waller Road in Regents park and pulled the driver out of the vehicle.

The thugs then assaulted the driver, before taking a quantity of cash from the taxi and making a getaway in a red Ford Focus, which was stolen from a home in Nerang on the Gold Coast on October 27.

The same vehicle was involved in a petrol drive off at a service station on Juers Street at Kingston at 4.15am on October 28.

Police have since released vision of the vehicle at a petrol station and are hoping someone may recognise the man pictured.

All four men are described as Pacific Islander in appearance.
