“Check your backyards” Police and SES launch urgent search for missing Qld woman

POLICE are asking residents in Brisbane’s south to check their yards, garages and sheds for any sign of missing woman Hyungleeb Lee.

Authorities have launched an urgent search for the 70-year-old, who was last seen around midday Wednesday in Chateau Street at Calamvale.

Grave concerns are being held for the woman as she suffers from medical conditions and can also become disorientated and confused.

Police will be focusing their search for the woman in the Calamvale and Algester areas today with door knocks requesting residents check their properties for any sign of the woman.

Around 35 police and emergency services personnel will be involved in the search, which will also involve using all-terrain vehicles and trail bikes.

Ms. Lee is of Asian appearance, she is about 155cm tall and has short black hair which is grey on the part.

She was last seen wearing a blue shirt with blue flowers and purple-coloured pants.
