A unit’s been left severely damaged after a blaze at Chevron Island in Surfers Paradise.
Emergency Services were called to the address on Illawong Street around 10am on Saturday morning, where a unit was well engulfed in flames.
They had the blaze under control by 10.30am.

All residents were evacuated from the building and no one was injured.
Police are still investigating the cause, but it’s believed the blaze started in the kitchen.
