Children among those injured in six car crash

FIVE people – including two children – have been taken to hospital following a six car crash in Brisbane.

The vehicles came to grief on the Turbot Street on-ramp to the Pacific Motorway around midday on Sunday.

A fleet of ambulances was dispatched to the scene to treat the injured and transport them to hospital.


In total, three adults and two children needed tending to and were transported to various hospitals across the city.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said all five patients had only minor injuries and were in stable conditions.

The pile-up has thrown traffic into disarray, with those heading north into the CBD experiencing lengthy delays.
