Passengers on a Gold Coast bus have had to help the driver pull over, after they suffered a medical episode.
It happened on the Pacific Highway northbound through Reedy Creek around 9.45pm.
Paramedics were called to the scene immediately, and swiftly transported the driver to hospital.

It’s believed passengers on the bus were able to bring the bus to a stop without serious incident.
No other injuries were reported in the incident.
Another bus was called to pick up the passengers and resume their commute.
The driver is undergoing further assessment at Robina Hospital in a stable condition.
Paramedics were unable to confirm the driver’s age or gender.
