Girl, 14, found ‘safe and well’ four days after going missing

UPDATE 5:00 PM SUNDAY | A TEENAGE girl reported missing on the Gold Coast earlier in the week has been found.

Police issued a missing persons alert for the 14-year-old after she was last seen at a home in Ashmore on Wednesday.

At the time, police said they were concerned for the girl due to her age and the fact she suffers from a medical condition.


In a statement on Sunday afternoon, Queensland Police confirmed the young teen had been found “safe and well”.

The teen was last seen at an address in Ashmore around 2pm on Wednesday.
