Concerns grow for Gold Coast teenager missing for a week

It has now been a week since a 17-year-old Gold Coast girl was seen by her family.

The teenager has not contacted them since December 30, when she left a property on Foxwell Road in Coomera.

The girl (pictured) was officially reported missing to police on January 3.

Police hold concerns for her welfare as she has not been in contact with her family and they say this behaviour is out of character.

She is described as Caucasian in appearance, is approximately 165cm tall and of a slim build with shoulder-length blonde hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing denim jeans, a red sleeveless top and a denim jacket.

She was also carrying a handbag containing black work pants and work shirt.

Anyone with information about her location is urged to contact police.
