An elderly woman has driven her car through a third-storey concrete barrier in Sydney’s south this afternoon.
Fire and Rescue NSW rushed to the Cronulla shopping centre car park on Wednesday afternoon where they found the car hanging over the edge.
It’s believed the 83-year-old woman managed to free herself from the vehicle before she was taken to hospital with upper body pain.

A pedestrian was treated at the scene for shock.
A crane has since stabalised the vehicle, however the building has sustained structural damage.
