Sydney Roosters playmaker Cooper Cronk has revealed he’s not likely to strap on the boots for the NRL Grand Final against this old club.
The Queensland and Australian rep injured his rotator cuff during the Roosters win over the Rabbitohs.
He dutifully played out the game but clutched regularly at his shoulder as his left arm hung limp for the second half of the match.

Today, Cronk said he’s not completely ruling himself out of the Grand Final just yet.
“It’s a long shot,” he said.
“There’s an injury there, there’s no doubt about that.”
He added he’s going to do everything thing in his power to get fit for the game on Sunday afternoon.
“If someone says ice your shoulder five times a day, I’ll do it ten times. If they said get treatment twice a day, I’ll do it five times.”
ROCKY THE ROOSTER! NOOO!
The @sydneyroosters mascot might get charged for rough conduct for whacking Cooper Cronk's dodgy shoulder!
