Daniel Andrews is preparing for his first day on the job as Victoria’s 48th premier.
The 42-year-old last night claimed victory, with the ALP likely to end up with 48 of the 88 seats in the lower house.
Counting in some seats remains tight, with Labor and the Greens in a neck and neck fight for Prahan and Richmond.

In his victory speech, Mr Andrews said he will govern for all Victorians and not just Labor voters.
