THERE are reports new Brisbane Bronco’s signing Darius Boyd has snapped his Achilles tendon at training and will miss at least six months.
The Courier Mail reports Boyd broke down at training this morning, just his first week back at full training since completing treatment for depression in rehab.
The news looks to cause some significant headaches for the club, who’ve discarded most of their fullback options since new coach Wayne Bennett announced Darius Boyd was his dream guy for the position.

Ben Barba and Josh Hoffman were both released to create room at the back, and under the salary cap, to allow Boyd to move in at Red Hill.
