Daylight savings has begun

DAYLIGHT savings has begun in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and the ACT.

Clocks in those states went forward by one hour at exactly 2am this morning.

City of Gold Coast residents will not have to make any time adjustment, as Queensland is not affected.

For locals living south of the border, most smart phones will automatically adjust to the change.

Those affected should also remember to also move the time forward on watches, cars and appliances.
