Disqualified female driver allegedly six-times over legal limit

A woman has spent the night behind bars, after allegedly returning a breath analysis six times over the legal alcohol limit.

The 46-year-old’s Honda CRV was pulled over at Emerald Beach, near Coffs Harbour on the NSW mid-north coast, on Saturday afternoon.

Police say her road-side breath test returned a positive reading, so she was taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station.

“She was subject to a breath analysis which allegedly returned a reading of 0.324,” Police said in a statement.

“(Adding to that her) drivers licence was disqualified until 2022.”

She was charged with high range PCA and drive whilst disqualified.

It appears it’s not the first time she’s been accused of driving under the influence, with Police confirming the charges were listed as a ‘second offence’.
