Driver found dead after car crashes into creek

A MAN has died after losing control of his car and crashing into a creek bed in central west NSW.

It happened at Tullamore, about 90km northwest of Parks, just before 7.30am on Friday.

In a statement, NSW Police said it appeared the man was travelling along The McGrane Way when his Holden Commodore left the road near The Bogan Way and crashed.

Police found the Commodore in a creek bed. Sadly, there was nothing they could do to save the driver.

The man, believed to be aged in his 40s, was deceased when emergency services arrived.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and will prepare a report for the Coroner.

Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident is urged to come forward.
