A WOMAN has died after becoming trapped in her car following a shocking crash in country NSW.
It happened on Henry Parkes Way, a rural road about 30km west of Parkes in the state’s Central West just before 7.30pm on Wednesday.
Police said a Toyota Corolla being driven by a 47-year-old woman left the road and smashed into a tree.

Emergency services rushed to the scene where they found the woman trapped in the driver’s seat.
She was extricated from the wreck but sadly, her injuries were too severe and she could not be saved.
In a statement this morning, police said the woman was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
She was the only person travelling in the car at the time of the crash.
Local police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident and are appealing for anyone with information or relevant dash cam vision to come forward.
