A MAN who fired a spear gun at a car during a terrifying road rage attack on the Gold Coast will walk free from jail on Friday.
The 32-year-old man pleaded guilty to chasing a car from Labrador to the Pacific Motorway in April after one its four male occupants made an offensive comments towards his girlfriend.
During the ordeal, he fired a spear gun, hurled a crow bar and punched the driver.

Bianca Stone from Seven News was in court today and said the magistrate described the attack as alarming, frightening and dangerous.
He was sentenced to 15 months behind bars, ordered to pay $5500 in compensation and banned from driving for 18 months.
He will be released on Friday after serving just five months.
