Drugs, weapons seized from Oxenford home

A man and woman will face court, following a Police raid on a property in Oxenford.

Officers executed a warrant at the Brittany Drive home around 6.40am on Friday, allegedly finding a quantity of methylamphetamine as well as cocaine, amphetamine, suspected MDMA capsules, GHB and pharmaceuticals.

“A substantial amount of cash was uncovered as well as a BB gun and a device similar to a Taser,” Police explained in a statement.


“Police also seized utensils, phones, hard drives, heat sealers and concealment devices.”

A 53-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, both from Oxenford, have been charged with three counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count each of unlawful possession of weapons, possession of utensils and possession of property suspected of being proceeds of an offence.

They are due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on August 7.
