Residents of a home in Sydney’s west have had a frightening wake-up call, after a car ploughed into their house.
The Holden Astra slammed into the property, on the corner of Fourth and Eighth Avenues in Seven Hills around 2am on Saturday.
Police say the sedan had left the road, hit a pole and two parked cars parked before causing minor damage to the home.

The driver was detained by a member of the public before officers from Blacktown Police Area Command attended.
The 19-year-old was given to a roadside breath test, returning a positive result.
He was arrested before undergoing a subsequent breath analysis at the Police station, returning a reading of 0.158.
He was charged with high range PCA and will appear a Blacktown Local Court on 5 February.
