RUGBY Union fans were left stunned when Wallabies coach Ewen McKenzie announced his resignation as Australia’s coach.
He announced the resignation after the Wallabies lost to New Zealand by one point in last night’s Bledisloe Cup match.
However, it is understood McKenzie submitted his resignation prior to the 29-28 loss to the All Blacks.

It comes after a tumultuous few weeks for McKenzie after he was forced to deny having an affair with team official Di Patson, following her feud with Kurtley Beale.
McKenzie reportedly told Australian Rugby Union boss Bill Pulver that he no longer had the support of Australia’s players.
