Farmer dies after being rammed into fence by raging bull

A MAN has died after being rammed by a raging bull on a farm in northern Victoria on Friday.

The man, believed to be aged in his 50s, was reportedly pinned against a fence by the bull on a private property in Bamawm, south of Echuca, just before 4pm.

Sadly, the man was critically injured and could not be saved. A rescue helicopter was deployed to the property but sadly, the man died before he could be flown to hospital.

WorkSafe Victoria is investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident.
