Federer stuns winning his eighth Wimbledon title

Roger Federer has wound back the clock, clinching his eighth Wimbledon men’s single title.

The 35-year-old beat Marin Cilic in straight sets, becoming the oldest champion at The All England club since 1930.

The win comes after a five-year Wimbledon title drought and 14 years since he first announced himself on London’s green courts.

The Swiss maestro knows he’s approaching the end of his career but still insists he’s loving the ride.

“It’s been a long road, its been a tough road but this is something I’m really enjoying,” Federer said.

Federer now holds two grand slam trophies for the first time since 2009.
