First artist lineup for Blues on Broadbeach 2019 revealed

Blues on Broadbeach has today announced some of the big names set to hit the stage at next year’s festival.

The first line-up includes six international acts, with Canned Heat, Eric Bibb, Tami Neilson, Chris Cain, Z-Star Trinity and Eric Steckel Band to perform at the music festival.

In a statement, Canned Heat’s ‘Fito’ and Larry said, “It’s great to be ‘On The Road Again’ and returning to Blues on Broadbeach. We really love Australia and look forward to playing for that great audience! Come and boogie with Canned Heat!”


Eleven Aussie acts have also been announced, including Harts, The Bamboos, The Lachy Doley Group, Blue Shaddy, to name a few.

Festival Director Mark Duckworth said the 2019 Blues on Broadbeach program will be the best yet.

“We’ve curated such a wide scope of Blues, Soul and Funk performers for the 2019 program reaching from home soil to New Zealand and the UK to the US. This year’s festival is so varied and unique, be prepared for a lot of brass and a lot smiles.”
