Five men have been charged after a string of alleged burglaries and thefts of Gold Coast businesses over the last two days.
A search warrant was carried out in Redbank Plains following a series of offences, which saw property damage worth tens of thousands of dollars.
It will be alleged the group were involved in forcing access to coin-operated washing machines at various Gold Coast laundromats.

Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch with the assistance of detectives from Ipswich also searched a car which was linked to the offences.
They located coin boxes from the machines, dangerous drugs including ice and cannabis, drug utensils and tokens from other laundromat businesses.
As a result of the search, five men have been arrested and charged.
The charge details are as follows:
A 26-year-old Yatala man, charged with attempted enter dwelling with intent, possession of house breaking implements, possession tainted property, possession of drug utensils and possession of dangerous drugs.
He’ll face Southport Court in May.
A 34-year-old Yatala man, charged with attempted enter dwelling with intent, possession of house breaking implements and possession tainted property, will face Southport Court today.
A 22, 23 and a 19-year-old man from Redbank Plains were also arrested and charged with similar offences, they’ll appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court today.
