MARK WEBBER has been involved in a heavy crash while competing in the World Endurance Championship in Brazil.
The Australian started from pole at the Interlagos Circuit in Sao Paulo but came unstuck toward the end of the race when his Porsche collided with the Ferrari driven by Matteo Cressoni of Italy according to The Age.
Webber (pictured courtesy of foxsports.com.au) was in sixth position at the time.

The crash caused an oil fire in the wreckage of the Porsche but Webber gave the crowd the thumbs-up to show he was okay, as he was being stretchered off.
