Former Gold Coast Suns co-captain Tom Lynch will confirm this week that Richmond is his club of choice.
Lynch will formally nominate Richmond when the free agency period opens on Friday according to Newscorp.
It’s believed the 25-year-old will be offered a six-year deal with the 2017 AFL Premiers.

Lynch had been courted by Collingwood and Hawthorn but has settled on the Tigers as his preferred club.
The Suns still have the opportunity to keep Lynch on the Gold Coast if they can match any offer made by Richmond.
But that appears unlikely with the Suns set to take the number 3 pick in the draft as compensation.
Lynch continues to recover from surgery on his posterior cruciate ligament which brought his time at the Suns to a premature end.
