PAY-TV is about to get a whole lot cheaper, with FOXTEL set to reduce its prices from November.
The pay-TV operator will reportedly cut the price of its entry-level cable and satellite offering in half in order to compete with internet streaming services.
Existing customers are also set to receive a range of extra channels and content for free.

Foxtel chief Richard Freudenstein made the announcement at the pay-TV industry’s annual convention in Sydney.
News.com.au reports he said many Australians feel Foxtel is too expensive.
“We are confident that these strategies will initiate a new era of growth,” he said.
“We want Foxtel to be part of the daily lives of millions more Australian households.”
