A 72-hour ceasefire between Israel and Hamas has ended just hours after it began.
Both sides have accused the other of breaking the truce, with an Israeli soldier allegedly kidnapped by Hamas militants.
Reports also suggest 53 people have been killed and more than 200 injured in fighting around the southern town of Rafa.

Blaming Hamas, Israel’s government spokesman Mark Regev says Israeli troops had been continuing to destroy tunnels under the border with Gaza when they were attacked.
Israel has resumed shelling operations in Gaza.
