GOLD Coasters are being encouraged to ‘Get on Board’ and help support a young local woman recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of stomach cancer.
Draga is a cherished sister, daughter, aunty and loving carer for the city’s sick and elderly.

Now it’s her time to be cared for, with two major fundraising events setup in her name.
On Sunday August 3, a 5km fun run will take place along Palm Beach with participants asked to wear purple, white or yellow.
This will be followed by a fundraising Luncheon at the Burleigh Sports Club on Saturday August 30.

‘Get on Board’ was established to support the local community by assisting individuals who are suffering from severe illness or disease.
The movement aims to provide ways for family and friends of people suffering to help raise much-needed funds to relieve financial stress and provide a strong support network so that they can be inspired by the love and generosity that they are immersed in.
