The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games are coming and things are about to get very busy. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see 11 days of competition and it’s by far the biggest event ever hosted on the Gold Coast.
During the Games journeys will take longer and moving around our city will require careful forward planning.
Things will start to change from January 2018 onwards including road lane closures, increased traffic and the arrival of officials and athletes.
Why not join the commuter community and ride your bike to work?
It may be quicker than travelling by car.
The Get Set for the Games program is offering free cycling workshops and breakfasts to encourage you to jump on your bike.
