UPDATE 3.15PM: A YOUNG girl who was flung from a high-speed amusement ride at the Royal Adelaide Show has reportedly died in hospital.
Seven News reports the chief of SafeWork South Australia confirmed the tragic development just moments ago.
EARLIER: A YOUNG girl has been catapulted from a high-speed amusement ride at the Royal Adelaide Show in South Australia.

Witnesses said the girls mother watched on in horror as her daughter was flung from the ‘Airmaxx 360’ shortly after midday.
She’s reportedly been rushed to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
Emergency services are at the scene with SafeWork officers investigating the cause.
