Boy, 12, found safe and well after disappearing on way home from school

SUNDAY: A HELENSVALE boy who disappeared on his way home from school on Thursday has been found safe and well, police have confirmed.

The 12-year-old was last seen leaving a school at Robina. In a statement released on Sunday afternoon, police confirmed the child had been located “safe and well”.

SATURDAY: A 12-YEAR-OLD boy remains missing on the Gold Coast, 43 hours after vanishing on his way home from school.

Police say the 12-year-old was last seen leaving a school at Robina around 3pm on Thursday, August 17.

He hasn’t been seen or heard from since, which police say is extremely concerning and out of character for the child.

The schoolboy was wearing his school uniform when he vanished. He remained missing at 10am on Saturday.
