Gold Coast Council carrying out various water works, interruptions planned

Multiple Gold Coast suburbs are due to experience water outages today, with council carrying out various works around the city.

There’ll be a water shutdown in Biggera Waters so that crews can replace a meter.

It should only affect a couple of residences along Marine Parade in Biggera Waters and Labrador between 9.00am and 2.00pm.

While crews will be connecting a water main in Main Beach today as well, with residents along Cunningham Avenue and Main Beach Parade to experience potential outages between 9.00am and 2.00pm.

And Mermaid Beach residents are in for some more interruptions again tonight, with a water shutdown due to take place so a valve can be installed.

That’s due to affect homes along the Gold Coast Highway, Montana Road and Dudley Street from around 7.00pm tonight.

Various Mermaid Beach properties are due to experience some water issues tomorrow as well.
