Dementia and Homelessness – Free information session (Coolangatta)

More than 20% of the 21,000 Queenslanders who are homeless are aged 55 years and over.

This group may be at a higher risk of dementia and may have difficulty accessing appropriate services and support.

This free information session for organisations working with the homeless community will provide an introduction to dementia and consider the impact of dementia on people at risk of or experiencing homelessness and how organisations can work together to better understand, identify and meet dementia needs.

Venue location in Coolangatta will be provided on registration.
