Get Set for the Games @ Southport SLSC
Get Set the Commonwealth Games 2018 are almost here and Southport is going to play a major part, hosting 10 out of the 11 Games days with Swimming, Diving, the Marathon and Triathlon.
- Get Set for the Triathlon event on Thursday 5 April and Saturday 7 April
- The free Marathon event all starting and finishing at the beautiful Southport Broadwater Parklands on Sunday 15 April.
- The Optus Aquatic Centre in Southport will be hosting the Diving and Swimming events almost every day through the competition.
There will be excitement and atmosphere at every turn and to accommodate this once in a lifetime event, temporary changes will occur across the Southport precinct.
Our Get Set team will be down at the Southport Surf Life Saving Club on Saturday 24 March from 8 – 11 am to answer all of your questions and provide advice to help you get set for the Games.

If you can’t make Saturday, the Get Set team will also be popping up again at Australia Fair Shopping Centre (opposite Woolworths) on Monday 26 March from 11am – 2pm.
