Pianist OSCAR WONG in recital

Oscar Shoyo Wong began piano lessons at the age of seven and has established himself as one of Australia’s most talented young pianists. He recently graduated from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University Oscar has already performed  as a soloist, chamber musician and concerto soloist in Japan, China, Russia, Malta and throughout Australia.

He is a first prize winner of important piano competitions in Australia, including the 2017 Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition, 2017 Australian Concerto and Vocal Competition, Australian Society of Keyboard Music Competition, three times first prize in the MTAQ Queensland Piano Competition and prize winner in the Japan Open International Piano Competition. During his degree, he received all of the performance prizes at the conservatorium available to him.

We are fortunate he will perform locally on the Gold Coast  substantial works Bach, Haydn, Chopin and Rachmaninov.
