Gold Coast flight deals to celebrate AirAsia’s 10 years in Oz

Low cost airline AirAsia X will tomorrow celebrate 10 years of flying Aussies across the world when Flight D7206 from Kuala Lumpur lands at Gold Coast Airport.

The aircraft, carrying the company’s CEO Benyamin Ismail, will be greeted with a water canon salute just after 9am to mark a decade since the airline first introduced its low-cost, long-haul service between Malaysia and Australia.

To coincide with the occasion, AirAsia X is offering cheap flights on a number of routes from the Gold Coast including $120 to Auckland, $211 to Singapore, and $268 to Beijing and Shanghai. Click here to see them all.
