Gold Coast police seek help to find missing teen

POLICE on the Gold Coast are appealing for help from the public to find a 16-year-old girl reported missing from Oxenford on January 3.

The teen from Oxenford was last seen leaving a house on Chubb Street at One Mile, near Ipswich about 7pm on Sunday, December 30.

Police issued a public appeal to help find the girl on Friday, citing concerns for the girl’s welfare due to her age and because she suffers from a medical condition.

The young girl (pictured) is described as being Caucasian in appearance and around 165cm tall with a slim build, brown hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing tight ‘skinny’ jeans, a white top and white sneakers.

Police say she was also carrying a big handbag full of personal belongings.
