Gold Coast suburbs could be without water after main bursts

Emergency repair works are currently underway after a water main burst in Currumbin Waters this afternoon.

Gold Coast City Council says crews are on scene working to fix the broken water main as soon as possible.

However, they warn some households in the area may be affected by “lower than normal water pressure and possible temporary loss of supply”.

The main suburbs impacted include Currumbin Waters, Tugun and Elanora.

In particular, households on Heartwood Avenue, Bronzewing Close, Foothill Street, Hoffschildt Drive, Larentia Street, Clives Circuit, Sellin Place, Robinson Place, Sawtell Drive, Pocock Court, Clancy Court, Alinjarra Drive, Mirreen Drive, Croft Court.
