THE Gold Coast Titans have this morning revealed that local radio station 1029 Hot Tomato will be the club’s official radio partner for the next three years.
Titans co-owner Rebecca Frizelle made the exciting announcement live on air this morning, stating the partnership was an important step in becoming a community owned club.
“It’s all about community and Hot Tomato have shown that they are all about the community, all about the local players – when I say players, I mean people of the Gold Coast, and that’s what the Gold Coast Titans stand for so we’re super excited about our future together,” Frizelle told Flan & Emily Jade with Christo.

The partnership will see the Titans advertise on radio, with both Hot Tomato and the Titans also working together on a large number of activations throughout the year.
1029 Hot Tomato is the number one station on the Gold Coast, and broadcasts from its local studios located in the heart of Southport.
Hot Tomato Executive Chairman Hans Torv said the station is looking forward to working with a great group of people, players, coaches, managers, administrators and most importantly, footy fans!
“I genuinely believe it is important for the city to have a competitive and successful team in the NRL, and in other sports, and have committed Hot Tomato to helping progress the growth and success of the Titans,” Mr Torv said.
“The station is behind and acknowledges the commitment of the new owners, the Kelly and Frizelle families, and the new exciting phase ahead for the club to become a true community owned franchise.”
Titans CEO Graham Annesley said he was very happy to be welcoming 1029 Hot Tomato to the sponsorship family.
“Our objective is to obtain the widest possible exposure for the Titans, and this agreement with 1029 Hot Tomato is the first of several announcements we hope to make in the near future,” Annesley said.
“The team at 1029 Hot Tomato have been a pleasure to deal with and will be a great addition to the Titans media family.
“As two iconic Gold Coast brands, we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship,” Annesley added.
