Gold Coast Treasure: Emilly Hadrill

Gold Coaster Emilly Hadrill has been making waves – both literally and in a business sense – in the Australian hair industry since 2007.

Ten years ago she started her business Emilly Hadrill Hair Extensions in a makeshift room at her Mermaid Beach home, offering high quality human hair extensions and application services for local women.

With demand high, she quickly upsized to a luxurious salon in Broadbeach, before expanding across the east coast of Australia and opening salons in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley and Melbourne’s South Yarra.

In an exclusive chat with myGC, the hair extension queen reveals how she has grew her business into a national brand and what her plans are for the future. Watch below:

Carla is a full time journalist, presenter and announcer for 102.9 Hot Tomato and, joining the team towards the end of 2011. Carla holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Bond University, where she graduated with number of First in Class and Dean’s List of Academic Excellence awards. Carla is also a well-regarded MC, singer and actor. Some of her credits include hosting the Australia’s Next Top Model Queensland Auditions for Foxtel, guest starring on Toybox for Channel Seven, and performing as Mrs Banks in The Arts Centre Gold Coast’s production of Mary Poppins.
