A 50-YEAR-OLD Gold Coast tutor has been arrested after a 10-year-old girl was assaulted in the safety of her own home.
The Mermaid Waters man, who police say uses a website to advertise his mobile tutoring business to families in southeast Queensland and northern NSW, is alleged to have indecently assaulted the young girl in her Tweed Heads home on Tuesday July 22.
Police said the man was confronted by the girl’s mother who told him to leave the property before she contacted police.
