A man’s been granted conditional bail after allegedly stabbing a teenage girl in Palm Beach two weeks ago.
19-year-old Brandon Walker-West was denied bail at Southport Magistrates court just four days ago, before appealing the decision and facing the Supreme Court this morning.
Justice Boddice granted bail on a residential condition because Walker-West had minor criminal custody and hadn’t served time before.

He’s now not allowed to live within 32 kilometres of his alleged victim, not allowed to contact his alleged victim, and isn’t allowed to apply for a passport.
It follows a neighbourly dispute which turned violent outside a unit block in Palm Beach on February 3.
Police allege that Walker-West stabbed a 17-year-old girl in the chest.
The court heard the knife pierced the woman’s thoracic area on the left side of her sternum and that she’d suffered extensive internal bleeding.
