Gold Coast motorists are being urged to fill up the tank as soon as possible, with petrol prices on the rise – AGAIN.
It’s understood the price of unleaded fuel has already jumped up by 40 cents at a number of servos across the coast.
The states motoring body says there’s still a few petrol stations selling fuel around 1.35cpl, but warned it’s not going to last long.

“Petrol prices in SEQ are starting to hike to a new high of 173.9cpl for ULP! You’d better get in quick to secure fuel for cheap!” RACQ tweeted.
“19 Caltex, 12 7-Eleven and five Coles servos have hiked prices to 173.9cpl!”
Motorists are being encouraged to fill up as soon as they see cheap fuel to avoid being disappointed.
“There’s still plenty of cheap fuel available, fill up before it disappears,” the motoring body warns.
Drivers are also being urged to use apps and websites available, like RACQ’s Fair Fuel Finder, to find the lowest prices.
