GOLD COAST golfer Adam Scott has won the Colonial PGA Tour event in Fort Worth.
The home grown hero hit a final-round 66 to share the lead with Jason Dufner on 9-under-par through 72 holes before taking the title with a five-foot putt on the second hole of the play-off.
“This is a really special week for me,” Scott told the ABC.

“It was, no matter what happened here. But to kind of find my way back into this tournament, around this golf course – it’s a real honour to win here. It’s a beauty.”
Scott had a lot to prove out on the course in Texas, after securing top spot on the world golf rankings by default.
American Tiger Woods (pictured with Scott) had been out of action for a while after having back surgery and has not been able to give a return date.
