SONY and Microsoft say they’re trying to fully restore the networks for their Playstation and X-Box game consoles.
Hackers began disrupting both networks on Christmas Day, in an attack which appears to be co-ordinated.
A group called ‘Lizard Squad’ took credit for the attacks via Twitter.

It is understood this group may have targeted Sony in the past, though the authenticity of the Twitter account has not been verified.
It comes as Sony was hit by hackers earlier this month, which saw a large amount of data stolen from secure servers.
