Harvey Weinstein has been taken to hospital, just hours after he was found guilty of a sexual assault charge and third-degree rape charge.
His representative has confirmed he’s being treated at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan, after suffering chest pains.
Weinstien was supposed to be taken straight to jail on Rikers Island, after he was convicted on charges of sexual assault and third degree rape.

He was already on a $US2 million bond, though the Justice ordered him to go to prison until his sentencing next month.
It’s understood he’s receiving treatment at Bellevue – a facility that services as a hospital for prisoners – though he’s believed to be in a stable condition.
His lawyer, Donna Rotunno, told Fox News in an interview that her client suffered from “high blood pressure and some heart palpitations,” but says he’s OK, and will still be transferred to Rikers at some point where he will have medical care.
