A planned hazard reduction burn is under way in the Tamborine National Park.
The Queensland Fire and Emergency Service said the burn would continue through until Sunday, weather permitting.
As a result, smoke may be seen in and around the area of Tamborine Mountain and Cedar Creek.

The Cedar Creek Section of Tamborine National Park will be closed for the duration of the planned burn.
Motorists have been urged to drive to suit the conditions through the area with smoke expected to decrease visibility.
