Heavy fog causing headache for M1 motorists

Heads up if you’re on your way into Brisbane this morning, it’s a bit foggy.

Motorists are being urged to be careful when travelling on the M1 this morning, with heavy blankets of fog causing a headache for the early morning commute.

For the Gold Coast stretch, a few Queensland Traffic cameras are showing blurred vision, with the Nerang Broadbeach Road exit showing a fair amount of fog in the area.

But for the run into Brisbane from the Gold Coast, visibility becomes a lot worse from around Beenleigh right through into the city.

At the cameras at Exit 34 and Logan River Bridge, vision is extremely blurred.

Motorists are being told to proceed with caution, and keep lights on while on the motorway.

There are no major traffic delays to look out for on the commute at the moment.
