Help needed to keep homeless pets warm on the Gold Coast this winter

AS the months get cooler Animal Welfare League Qld is asking the community to donate blankets, towels and bedding to help keep their homeless animals warm.

Communications Manager Brooke Whitney says that during winter the animals are more susceptible to illness which holds up their ability to be adopted as they are put into foster care while being treated.

“We would be grateful for blankets, warm bedding, towels and sheets to help keep the animals warm while they wait for new homes,” Ms Whitney says.
